November 3, 2026 – One of Decatur’s favorite holiday traditions is returning in December, and tickets for the 2026 Trees on the Tees event go on sale this week through the Decatur Park District.
Presented by the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation, Trees on the Tees will take place December 2nd through 6th and December 9th through 13th at Hickory Point Golf Course.
Visitors can climb aboard a golf cart after dark and travel through an enchanting display of beautifully decorated Christmas trees. Following the ride, guests can gather around the fire pit to roast s’mores and enjoy hot cocoa.
There are several ways to experience the holiday attraction.
VIP golf cart tickets go on sale Wednesday, November 4th, at 10 a.m. General admission tickets go on sale Thursday, November 5th, also at 10 a.m.
Golf cart rides are available from 5 to 8:30 p.m. December 2nd through 6th and December 9th through 13th. Admission is $10 per person.
Walking nights are scheduled for December 3rd, 5th and 11th, beginning at 5 p.m. Walking admission is $7 per person.
