June 12, 2023 – Award-winning young adult author Alex London will visit Decatur this Thursday.
The Decatur Public Library will host a writing workshop and book talk, both hosted by London, this week. The workshop is open for children aged 10-14 and will run from 3 to 4 p.m.—registration is required. At 6 p.m., London will give a public presentation open to all ages in the Madden Auditorium. His books will be available for purchase following the presentation and London will be available to sign copies.
London has published over 25 books for children, teens and adults. Several of his novels have been recognized by the American Library Association, and his latest young adult piece, Black Wings Beating, was selected as an NBC TODAY Show pick.
