June 12, 2023 – Mid-Summer Moon Productions will host open auditions for its fall musical, Willy Wonka, on June 26 and 27 at Oreana Baptist Church.
All ages will be welcome, and actors should be prepared to sing sixteen measures of a song and perform a memorized poem or monologue. No accompanist will be available, so auditionees should use recorded accompaniment or sing a cappella. Additionally, a short choreography segment will be taught—actors should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
The production will be held September 15-17 at the Decatur Civic Center. Ticket information will be made available in mid-August on the company’s Facebook page.
