June 19, 2023 – Lost Bridge Road will be closed for planned maintenance tomorrow, Thursday, August 24, from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
City crews will be mowing, causing a closure from Lake Front Road to Oak Ridge Drive—the portion of Lost Bridge Road that crosses Lake Decatur. Motorists will be detoured from Lake Shore Drive to 22nd Street, onto Wood Street, eastbound on U.S. Route 36, and onto Country Club Road.
The City of Decatur recommends finding an alternate route if possible. If traveling through the work zone, motorists should slow down and use caution.
