June 20, 2023 – The American Cancer Society will host its inaugural Farm to Table benefit at Richland Community College, featuring locally prepared cuisine, beverages and live music.
Planning is underway for the event, which will be held Thursday, July 13 from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Farm-to-table cuisine prepared by executive chefs from local restaurants will be served in addition to spirits and crafted brews from area breweries and wineries. Emmalyn Paul will perform live, and a silent auction and raffle will be available.
The society has set a $50,000 fundraising goal for the event. Funds raised from the evening will support the society’s research, provide increased cancer screenings and assist with patient and caregiver lodging during treatment.
Registration for the event is required. The event is sponsored by Richland Community College, Ameren Illinois, Memorial Health, 1st Mid-America Credit Union and Neuhoff Media.
