Travis Scott finally announced his Utopia Presents Circus Maximus tour this week, but it won’t be stopping in the rapper’s hometown of Houston, where his deadly Astroworld tragedy took place in 2021. When the tour was teased earlier this month, the 28-date trek included a show at Houston's Toyota Center on October 19th, which would've been his first since the disaster that killed 10 people. But city authorities immediately condemned the news, with the Houston Police Union saying “it is unreasonable to allow this concert to go forward and call upon elected officials to stand up and say, not in our city, not again!” It's not clear if those objections caused the date to be pulled, but the tour now has just two stops in Texas — one in Dallas on November 17th and another in Austin on November 21st.
