September 27, 2023- In partnership with the Decatur Salvation Army and Good Samaritan Inn, Marquis Coffee will be giving out free coffee and donuts to the Decatur community.
On Friday, September 29th, community members are invited to gather at Central Park to enjoy some free Salvation Army Red Kettle Blend Coffee and Good Samaritan Inn Do Good Donuts. Donations will also be accepted on behalf of both organizations.
The event will be from 7-9 am or while supplies last.
“We have been long time partners with the Salvation Army and are supporters of the Good Samaritan Inn,” DJ Cooper of Marquis said. “National Coffee Day is a perfect opportunity to give to these two organizations and share the perfect pairing of coffee and donuts with the people of Decatur. We are excited for everyone to try two locally created products and raise awareness for two great community organizations.”
The Red Kettle Blend is a special coffee blend roasted for the Salvation Army locally at Marquis. It is available for purchase from the Salvation Army. Do Good Donuts are baked fresh on Fridays and Sundays at the Good Samaritan Inn.
Marquis Coffee has been roasting coffee locally in Decatur and providing beverage service to the extended area for over 40 years.
