March 19, 2024 – The Macon County Conservation District will be holding a public hearing for the public to attend on tomorrow, March 20 from 5-7pm at the Rock Springs Nature Center.
The public hearing will be a chance for the residents of Decatur and Macon County to view and discuss the proposed project that will connect the Rock Springs Conservation Area to the Scovill Park with a connection of existing trails from each site to provide access between the two open spaces.
Residents will have a chance to view a printout of the proposed trail connection and speak with Executive Director, Jerry Culp, with any questions they have about the grant or the project. Feedback, comments, and questions are welcome and encouraged.
