March 13, 2024 – The American Red Cross is hosting a public disaster responder academy in order to qualify participants as local disaster response volunteers. The training will be held on March 23rd.
Training will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m and take place at the Red Cross office at 2674 N. Main St. in Decatur.
Participants at the one day event will become a fully-qualified local disaster response volunteer to respond to home fires and other disasters in the community Participants will meet other volunteers and Red Cross staff members. To sign up or learn more, visit HERE or call 309-207-5266.
