September 15, 2024 – The Decatur Area Arts Council is accepting applications from artisans and craft makers for its annual Holiday Gift Shoppe
The Shoppe will be open from November 8 through December 21 in the Madden Arts Center, located at 125 N. Water St. in downtown Decatur. Interested artists are encouraged to submit a variety of “giftable” creations, such as ornaments, ceramics, woodworking, textiles, painting, photography, décor or jewelry. Submissions do not need to be Christmas-related.
Application Deadline: October 1.
- Artists deliver the items to the DAAC, and a staff of volunteers will handle the display, marketing, and sales for you. After the holidays, they will pack it all back up for you to pick up.
- Hours are M-F 8:30-4:30 and Sat. 9-2.
- Choose the commission level you are comfortable with
