October 2, 2024 –Local businesses, community members and religious leaders will gather for the Mt. Zion Chamber of Commerce’s 12th Annual Mt. Zion Community Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. The program will include keynote speaker Shane Mendenhall, music and prayer.
This is the 12th year the prayer breakfast will be held at the Mt. Zion Convention Center, 1400 Village Parkway, Mt. Zion, Illinois from 7:00 am until 8:00 a.m. Doors will open at 6:15 a.m. Advance, pre-purchased tickets are required at a cost of $13 and include a breakfast buffet.

Shane Mendenhall graduated from Mt. Zion High School and Millikin University before going on to earn his Juris Doctorate degree. Shane and his wife moved back to the Mt. Zion area because they wanted to get back to their roots in order to serve and give back to the community that had given them so much.
