January 29, 2025 – The Rock Springs Nature Center is inviting the public to an event to get to know the center’s educational animal ambassadors.

On Sunday, February 2 at 2pm, participants will have the unique opportunity to meet the Nature Center’s resident snake, turtles, frogs, and rabbit.

During this program, guests will learn about these animals’ wild counterparts, discover what it takes to care for them, and assist staff with a feeding.

“It’s an excellent chance to deepen your understanding of local wildlife and get a behind-the-scenes look at a day in the life of our resident educational ambassadors,” the center said.

Space is limited. The cost for this program is $5/person and registration is required by noon, Friday, January 3. Register at MaconCountyConservation.org.
