Country’s Big Night at the American Music Awards

The “American Music Awards” went down last night and was all about Taylor Swift, who won Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video for “Cardigan,” and Favorite Female Pop / Rock Artist.

But, Taylor wasn’t there. In a remote acceptance speech, she said she was too busy re-recording her old masters to make it. (Here’s video.)

Taraji P. Henson was the host, and there was a limited number of audience members present, and they also had cardboard cutouts sitting in the seats.

Country music took home a few awards, too!
