Last night ( April 20th) Redman and Method Man gave fans a concert instead of a traditional battle during their 4/20 themed VERZUZ special. Redman kicked things off with his 1992 song “How to Roll a Blunt,” with Method Man following it up with “What The Bloodcl*t.” The two went through several hits and collaborations, including: “I’ll Be There For You/You’re All I Need to Get By,” The Notorious B.I.G.'s “The What,” the Phife Dawg assisted “Nutshell Pt. 2,” and LL Cool J's “4,3,2,1.” After playing DMX's verse, Method Man got a little emotional and asked fans to put X's in the chat.

Redman also performed “Tonight's Da Night,” “I'll Be That,” and Meth performed “Bring the Pain, and his verses on Jonell's “Round and Round (Remix) and Teyana Taylor's “Gonna Love Me (Remix).”

They also bought out special guests: Keith Murray, EPMD, Wu Tang Clan's Inspectah Deck and RZA — who announced that he and DJ Scratch finished a new album during quarantine and are readying the project’s release. DJ Kool also came on to perform “Let Me Clear My Throat.”

After performing more hits, the rap legends closed out the night with a performance of their collaboration, “Da Rockwilder.”
