In her nominations, she was described as an incredible human and teacher. She always puts her students first and builds relationships with all of them. She has been handed a couple of hard years, including being the best teacher to her 5th graders while they dealt with the loss of a student. Mrs. G does more than just for her own students; she is involved and helps with many things around the school!
Her incredible care, compassion, and dedication to her students every single day. Mrs. G has a rare gift for making every student feel seen, valued, and special. She goes far beyond academics to build genuine connections, creating a classroom where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to be themselves. During an unimaginable tragedy, Mrs. G was a steady source of comfort and strength for her students. She provided emotional support, patience, and understanding when it was needed most, ensuring her classroom remained a place of stability and kindness.
Mrs. G’s impact extends well beyond the classroom.
