Pooh Shiesty’s Alleged Shooting Victim Recants Story

By Music News Jun 15, 2021 | 7:00 PM

Pooh Shiesty's alleged shooting victim has recanted his story and doesn't want to press charges. As previously reported, the rapper was arrested on May 30th after allegedly shooting one o the security guards at King of Diamonds in Miami.

Reports say that the rapper was robbed for $40,000 while he was on stage performing. Pooh Shiesty's attorney filed a new motion this week with a sworn testimony from the victim, security guard Frivin Dor that “claims he was on a powerful painkiller and unaware of what he was saying to the police when they first spoke.”

Dior is on record reportedly saying he received Dilaudid, a powerful opioid painkiller, upon arriving at the hospital the night of the shooting, which has caused him to not remember what he told detectives. Dior now says that chaos may have been caused by a fan used to cool off that fell in the garage nearby. In his new statement, he doesn’t recall Pooh Shiesty aiming at him or shooting.

Meanwhile, Frivin also said he doesn’t want to press charges against Pooh and he also doesn’t want officials in Florida to contact him about the matter. The rapper’s lawyers argue that this is enough reason for prosecutor to at least reconsider the decision not to release the rapper — who still remains in jail, on bond.
