May 6, 2026 – The communities of Argenta, Cisco and Oreana are coming together to mark a historic milestone with a full day of festivities this fall.
The America 250 Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States with a lineup of family-friendly events and patriotic activities.
Organizers say the celebration will feature a parade, live entertainment, local vendors, food, and a fireworks display to cap off the evening. The goal is to bring residents and visitors together to recognize the nation’s milestone while highlighting the strength of the local community.
“This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to celebrate America’s 250th birthday as a community,” said Corrinne Sessions, publicity chair for the event. “We’re excited to create a fun, memorable experience for families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy together.”
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers are encouraging local businesses, organizations, and community members to take part by joining the parade, signing up as vendors, or volunteering.
