June 14, 2026 – Music lovers can once again enjoy free live performances under the stars as the Macon County Conservation District’s annual Summer Concert Series returns to Rock Springs Conservation Area for its ninth season.
Sponsored by Stifel Investment Services, the free concert series features performances held every other Sunday throughout the summer. The series offers a variety of musical styles, from folk and Americana to Celtic and “rustbelt soul,” providing entertainment for audiences of all ages.
Mother-daughter Americana duo WisenHeart will perform on June 28 and the second half of the series features several new acts making their Rock Springs debut. Broken Brogue, a four-piece Celtic folk band performing traditional Irish and Scottish music, will perform July 12. Back Porch Trio, an easy-listening group with a diverse repertoire spanning multiple genres, follows on July 26. The series concludes Aug. 9 with Harlem Hayfield, whose signature sound has been described as “rustbelt soul.”
All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and will be held on the lawn near the pavilions at Rock Springs Conservation Area. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets and enjoy an evening of outdoor entertainment. Snacks will be available for purchase during the events.
In the event of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors to the Rock Springs Nature Center.
The Summer Concert Series is free and open to the public.
