June 23, 2026 – The Dawson Civic Leadership Institute is inviting a limited number of local youth to hit the field this summer with its 2026 Free Summer Soccer Camp, designed for boys and girls entering 3rd through 6th grade.
The camp will be held over two sessions in July, with Week 1 scheduled for July 20–22 and Week 2 set for July 27–29. Each session runs daily from 8 to 11 a.m. at Eva Longoria Soccer Field, located across from the Ag Center at 3080 S. Business Route 51 in Decatur.
The program is limited to 15 participants and is designed to provide focused instruction in a small-group setting. Camp coordinators Andreas Walker and Aiven Walker will lead activities and skill development throughout the week.
There is no cost to participate in the camp, which aims to make youth sports more accessible while building teamwork, discipline and confidence on the field.
