July 23, 2026 – The 4th annual Dueling Pianos for Scouting will take place Thursday, August 6, 2026, at the Children’s Museum of Illinois in Decatur.
The event will feature a performance by Fun Pianos!, with an all-request dueling piano show from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. A social hour with food and beverages is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Organizers say proceeds from the event will benefit local Scouting programs in Macon County.
According to Scouting America — Greater St. Louis Area Scouting, local programs served 965 youth over the past year and provided more than $4,000 in financial assistance to help ensure participation regardless of financial need. The organization also reported 829 community service hours across 399 local projects.
“This event is pure fun with a serious purpose,” said David Lane, Assistant Director of Field Service.
Tickets are $60 for individuals and $450 for tables of eight. Sponsorships are available starting at $500.
The event is for attendees age 21 and older. Tickets are available at stlbsa.org/pianos.
