August 6, 2026 – The Decatur Area Arts Council and Gallery 510 will welcome artists and art enthusiasts to downtown Decatur for the annual Arts in Central Park festival on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 19-20.
The juried art fair will feature 50 artist booths showcasing works from artists across the Midwest. Visitors can browse and purchase a variety of handmade artwork, including jewelry, pottery, metal sculpture, glass, fiber arts, paintings and more.
In addition to the artist exhibits, the weekend will include live music, food and beverages available for purchase, children’s art activities and the popular Kids ArtShop, where children ages 12 and younger can purchase artwork inside the historic Transfer House.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, with children’s activities and the Kids ArtShop opening at 11 a.m. each day.
