August 18, 2026 -The Decatur Indoor Sports Center is bringing back Little Hoopsters, a basketball program designed to introduce young children to the fundamentals of the game in a fun, non-competitive environment.
The program runs Wednesdays from September 2 through September 30, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center.
Children ages 3 to 12 will learn basketball fundamentals including teamwork, dribbling, passing and shooting. The program is directed by the Millikin University women’s basketball team, with instruction from the Millikin coach and players.
The cost is $58 for non-residents, $53 for residents and $50 for DISC members. Spots are limited.
