September 7, 2026 – The Jerry J. Dawson Civic Leadership Institute will host an open house Thursday, September 10, giving students, families, community partners and residents an opportunity to learn more about DCLI’s programs and opportunities.
The open house will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at DCLI, located at 3080 South Business Route 51 in Decatur.
DCLI offers programs focused on education, workforce development, healthcare, public safety and civic engagement. Opportunities include the College Scholars Program, healthcare career pathways, public safety and law enforcement programming, and summer internships and employment programs.
The organization also provides adult programming designed to strengthen workforce outcomes while providing community education and opportunities for residents to become more informed and engaged in the systems that shape their community.
The open house will give attendees an opportunity to meet the DCLI team and learn more about its programs and opportunities.
