September 17, 2026 – The Decatur Police Department will join the community for “Coffee with a Cop” on Wednesday, October 7th in conjunction with CONO.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. at McDonald’s, 1835 East Eldorado Street in Decatur.
The event is designed to give community members an opportunity to meet with Decatur police officers in an informal setting, ask questions and have conversations over a cup of coffee.
The event’s theme is “Building Relationships. One Cup at a Time,” with organizers encouraging residents to stop by, enjoy some coffee and connect with local officers.
The event is part of an effort to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community.
