September 17, 2026 – Three performers from London’s West End will bring “Gravity: London’s Iconic Leading Ladies” to Millikin University’s Kirkland Fine Arts Center Saturday, September 19, at 7:30 p.m.

The performance is part of the 2026-2027 Kirkland Fine Arts Center Artist Series and will feature music from productions including “Wicked,” “Cats,” “Evita,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Les Misérables,” “Chicago,” “Miss Saigon” and “We Will Rock You.”

The show is inspired by “Wicked” and the iconic role of Elphaba. The performers will combine musical selections with personal backstage stories from their careers in musical theatre, culminating with the anthem “Defying Gravity.”

“Gravity offers audiences the opportunity to experience the incredible talent and energy of three celebrated West End performers in one extraordinary evening,” said Bryan Diver, Director of Kirkland Fine Arts Center. “From beloved musical theatre favorites to personal stories from behind the scenes, this performance promises to be a memorable celebration of music, theatre, and some of the most iconic leading ladies of the stage.”

Tickets are $40, $35 and $30, with children’s tickets available for $12. Discounted tickets are available for seniors, veterans, Millikin faculty and staff, and students.

Tickets are available through the Kirkland Fine Arts Center Ticket Office. The office is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 4:30 p.m. Accessible seating is available by calling 217-424-6318.
