January 11, 2022 – The state is launching a new COVID-19 vaccine campaign in hopes of reaching those still on the fence about getting the shots.
The initial rollout features four videos from Illinoisans who were initially hesitant about getting the vaccine. This includes a pastor from Danville who, along with his wife, caught the virus.
More videos in the “On the Fence” campaign will be released in the coming weeks. According to the CDC, the unvaccinated are 17 times more likely to be hospitalized with COVID than those who have gotten their shots and booster.
