July 27, 2022 – Connie Brandt, a self-pay representative in the business office at Decatur Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for June.
Brandt, of Decatur, is known for her positive attitude and skills as a compassionate listener.
She recently spent extra time and effort to resolve a billing issue for a client, who was so impressed the client sought out hospital leaders to report on the great service Brandt provided, said hospital officials.
Brandt has worked at Decatur Memorial Hospital for 23 years.
Outside of work, she enjoys shopping at thrift stores and spending time with her family, which includes her husband of 35 years, three sons and one grandson.
