Richland Construction Training Program to Begin Orientation

July 27, 2022 – Richland’s Construction Training Program provides students with the skills needed to gain an entry-level position in the construction field that will lead to a rewarding and fulfilling career.

Students will also participate in an EnRich Essential Skills class that teaches communication, teamwork, dependability, given help with writing resumes, and taught proper interview techniques. The heart of this program will prepare students for a career in construction by teaching them basic knowledge in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and much more with hands-on experience.

Orientation Dates are scheduled as the following:

  • August 8 at 5:00 p.m.
  • August 9 at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
  • August 10 at 2:00 p.m.

Orientation will be held at the National Sequestration Education Center (NSEC) on the Richland Community College Campus.
