Richland Community College Announces New Foundation Board Members and Organization

August 24, 2022 – Richland Community College announced that they have two new Foundation Board Members and a new organization of Foundation Board Officers.

Richland announced that Nicole Bateman is the new Chair for the Foundation Board of Directors, Stephen Clevenger the Vice Chair, Jim Schroeder the Past Chair, Matt Whitehead the Treasurer, and Julie Brilley the Secretary.

The College also welcomed Tamar Kutz and James Rhodes to the Foundation Board of Directors.

Tamar serves as the Vice President, Quality & Operations for Decatur Memorial Hospital, a Memorial Health System Affiliate. She obtained her Masters of Business Administration from Benedictine University at Springfield and has her Bachelors of Arts in Business Management from the University of Illinois, Springfield, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Administration from Lincoln College-Normal, Magna cum Laude. She resides in Lincoln, IL with her husband Todd and two children, Regan and Reed. Tamar’s experience and connection to Decatur Memorial Hospital will be essential to the success of the Foundation.

James brings 30 years of experience in leading the design and implementation of learning programs starting with his time in the Air Force. In the fall of 2020, James joined ADM as Director of Global Technical Training & Development Technology & Engineering COE and relocated his wife and son from Atlanta, GA to Illinois. James and his family reside in Rantoul IL and enjoy traveling, hiking, fishing, gardening, and many community involvement activities. James’ community connection and leadership will be imperative to the success of the Foundation.
