September 7, 2022 – The Performing Arts Series for Students (PASS) is back to provide shows at the Kirkland Fine Arts Center on Millikin University’s campus.
The shows offered this season begin in 2023:
- Buckets N Boards, Wednesday, January 25, 10:00 a.m.
- Ben Franklin and His Kite, Tuesday, February 14, 10:00 a.m.
- The Orchestra Comes Alive, Thursday, March 2, 10:00 a.m.
- The Wonderful World of Simple Machines, Tuesday, May 9, 10:00 a.m.
Area teachers and homeschool groups can reserve seats for the program(s) that best suit the needs of their class. The first date reservations will be accepted is Tuesday, October 4, beginning at 8:00 a.m. by calling 217-423-3189.
All PASS performances are held at Kirkland, giving students the often first-time experience of being on a college campus in a world-class facility, opening their young eyes to a wider range of possibilities. If you would like your child to take advantage of this opportunity, contact your school’s principal and/or teachers. Homeschoolers are also welcome.
All shows are only $5 per student, except for The Orchestra Comes Alive on March 2, which is free.
