April 11, 2023 – The Decatur Area Arts Council has given an update on its annual fundraising campaign.
The annual “Color Our Community” fundraising campaign is off to a great start, raising $10,000 by April 8th.
“Your gift helps ensure that, through the arts, Decatur is a dynamic and creative community. The arts are among the most important ties that bind us together as a community and your financial support is the key to keeping that connection strong,” said the Arts Council.
Every donation to the Decatur Area Arts Council’s general fund allows them to offer programs to the community, including;
• Regular exhibits
• Arts education
• Grants and scholarships
• Special events
• Public Art and murals
• Cultural trips
• Support for local arts organizations
