December 12, 2020 – Local first responders battled the rain and cold to raise funds for the Salvation Army with “Gurneys, Guns & Hoses”.
Local ambulance, city fire, county fire, police and sheriff’s office volunteered as Red Kettle bell ringers for the Salvation Army. The group that raises the most will be declared the champion. Winners will be determined later as funds from online donations still need to be tabulated through the Salvation Army’s virtual kettle.
All dollars raised will be matched up to $25,000.
