Chris Stapleton and his wife, Morgane Stapleton, donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe account set up to help a Tennessee family whose two youngest kids — seven-month-old twins — were swept away and killed in the recent flood in Waverly, TN. The family also lost their home.
The GoFundMe goal was set at $5,000, however at press time, the total surpassed $105,000, with the Stapleton's donation being the largest.
The flood in Waverly killed a total of 20 people when more than 17 inches of rain fell in a short period of time on Saturday (August 21st).
