We love Halloween more than Valentine’s Day but less than Thanksgiving

Halloween is this weekend. The decorations are up, the costumes are picked out, the candy bowls are ready by the door, and the spooky music is set. This holiday is a fan favorite that outranks others like New Year’s Eve and the Fourth of July. But how does it rank against those other holidays in the year?

Turns out we like Halloween over Valentine’s Day, but that’s about it. It definitely does not compare to Christmas or Thanksgiving in the latest YouGov poll comparing the holidays. Even the Fourth of July got more love than Halloween. It’s probably because of the nicer weather, grilled foods, and fireworks.
