December 12, 2022 – A lottery will be held on Tuesday, December 20, at 3:00 p.m. in the Macon County Clerk’s Office, 141 South Main Street, Room 104, because two or more petitions were received simultaneously for the same Board of Education Member as of the opening hour of the filing period on December 12.Additionally, if two or more petitions are filed for the same Board of Education Member within the last hour of the filing deadline (December 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.), they shall be deemed filed simultaneously and will be included in a lottery drawing to determine the final ballot position. The lottery for the last-hour filers will be held on December 27 at 3:00 p.m. in the Macon County Clerk’s Office.
