Today was an all-hands-on-deck kind of day! We had several teachers, staff members, and even the principal herself show up and show out for this month’s Teacher Of The Month surprise at American Dreamer Stem Academy!
We even ended up having to cut recess a little short so all the kids could be there to celebrate their teacher: Ms Flanigan! One student even said during the group photo that Ms Flanigan is the best teacher ever and she deserves this so much! Here’s what some of her nominations said:
“Ms. Flanigan is a phenomenal teacher & mentor with such care and compassion. She is constantly going above & beyond for all of her students. Raising funds to ensure they have wonderful holidays as well as field trips and pizza parties. Ms. Flanigan is truly one of a kind.”
“This teacher is a stand out human. She makes the learning environment so engaging. She’s always coming up with projects for the students that are hands on and usually related to giving back. She’s created a tradition of making Thanksgiving baskets for families in need and the students are a part of this. She is there for her students just as much as her staff. They rely on her for guidance and support, as she’s always willing to help however she can. A real one in billion she is.”
“She always goes out of her way to make sure her students get the most out of each year. She uses out of pocket money and her free time to guarantee each student gets the proper learning experience.”
