April 24, 2024 – Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski has launched the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, inviting high school students from the Illinois 13th Congressional District to submit their artwork for a chance to be displayed in the U.S. Capitol Building. Submissions are open until Monday, April 29th.
The winning artwork will be showcased alongside pieces from congressional districts nationwide. This year’s competition includes youth art workshops in Central and Southern Illinois, providing younger students with opportunities to engage with local artists and create their own pieces.
“I’m thrilled to launch our 2024 Congressional Art Competition…I can’t wait to see what everyone creates!” Said Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski.
Submissions must be dropped off at any of Budzinski’s Illinois offices. A local judging panel will select the winner.
