Do Something Great Award nominations open until May 24

May 7, 2024 – Nominations for the Macon County Do Something Great Awards are now being accepted through May 24th. The Do Something Great Awards, hosted by the Heart of Illinois Community Foundation for the last 20 years, are an annual program that honors Macon County residents who have significantly impacted the community in the past year. This year’s awards feature seven categories.

  • Award of Excellence in Inclusion
  • Outstanding Young Philanthropist
  • Outstanding Volunteer/Board Member
  • Outstanding Professional Partner
  • Outstanding Philanthropic Support of the Arts
  • The Ray Batman Nonprofit Professional of the Year Award
  • The Robert and Bev Ketenbrink Community Commitment Award

The awards ceremony will be held on August 7th. Nominations are due by May 24. 2024 Do Something Great Nomination Form.
