June 23, 2026 – Agribusiness giant ADM will be recognized as one of the newest inductees into the Illinois Manufacturing Hall of Fame during a ceremony Thursday, June 25, celebrating the companies, products and individuals that have made a lasting impact on manufacturing in Illinois.

The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association announced ADM among the 2026 Hall of Fame inductees in the Companies & Organizations category. Headquartered in Chicago with major operations throughout Central Illinois, including Decatur, ADM was selected for its role as a global agricultural supply chain manager, processor and nutrition provider, as well as its leadership in sustainability, agricultural innovation and the growing bioeconomy.

Established in 2024, the Illinois Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognizes the people, products and organizations that have shaped more than 200 years of manufacturing excellence in Illinois. Manufacturing remains the state’s largest contributor to gross domestic product, supporting nearly one-third of Illinois jobs and generating more than $580 billion annually for the state’s economy.

“Inductees into this year’s Manufacturing Hall of Fame represent the best of our state’s manufacturing sector and we are proud to honor their historic contributions,” said Illinois Manufacturers’ Association President and CEO Mark Denzler.

Joining ADM in the Companies & Organizations category are Lapham-Hickey Steel, S&C Electric Company and C.H. Hanson & Co.

Other 2026 Hall of Fame inductees include Gilster-Mary Lee leader Don Welge, recycling pioneer Marsha Serlin, barbed wire inventor Joseph F. Glidden, White House China, Eli’s Cheesecake, NERDS Gummy Clusters and spray paint inventor Edward H. Seymour.

Governor JB Pritzker called the inductees “trailblazers whose historic contributions have shaped our culture and communities” and highlighted Illinois’ long-standing reputation as a global manufacturing leader.
