Lady Gaga Apologizes as Haus Labs Expands Bronzer Shade Range After Backlash

Lady Gaga has apologized after criticism over the shade range planned for a new Haus Labs bronzer. In a public statement, the singer and beauty founder said the brand made mistakes both in developing the product and in how it responded when concerns were raised.

The issue emerged after beauty creator Golloria tested the Sun Dipped Bronzing Veil and criticized its six-shade lineup, saying the deeper options did not adequately serve darker skin tones. Gaga later acknowledged the criticism, saying the feedback highlighted problems the company needed to address.

Haus Labs has since paused the original launch and returned the product to development. The bronzer range has now been expanded from six shades to 11, with the company reviewing its process before moving forward.

Gaga also addressed the brand’s response to Golloria, who said she had been asked to remove her post because the product was under embargo. Gaga said the situation was handled poorly and confirmed that the company apologized directly while reviewing its internal practices.
