October 11, 2026 – The holiday season will officially arrive in downtown Decatur with the Decatur Christmas Parade, presented and organized by Decatur Earthmover Credit Union, on Saturday, December 5th.
The parade begins at 4 p.m. and will feature an afternoon of Christmas music, holiday fun and plenty of candy for parade-goers.
Families, friends and even pets are invited to line the streets and enjoy the celebration.
Community groups, businesses and organizations interested in entering the parade can register through Decatur Earthmover Credit Union. The entry fee is $25, with all proceeds going to the credit union’s 2026 Charity of the Year, the Empowerment Opportunity Center.
