May 21st, 2024 – Tickets are now available for the 22nd Annual CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) Playhouse Raffle Fundraiser through June 16th.
For the first time there will be two playhouses that will appeal to both kids and adults.
“The Library” is described as “a colorful, cozy space with an indoor sensory swing, full of opportunities, from books to arts and crafts, is a space for children to jump from the pages of a book, straight into their creative imaginations.”
The adult version of the She Shed/ Man Cave is described as “a backyard oasis, complete with a walk-up bar, games, and inviting décor – perfect for gathering with family, friends, or simply relaxing by yourself.”
Houses are scheduled to be on display in Central Park from June 6th through June 16th for public viewing, with a realtor-inspired “open house” scheduled for Thursday, June 13th from 4:30pm through 7 pm in Central Park.
The homes were created by BLDD Architects, Local builders, Doug Davidson, Ted Paine, Building Consultant, Josh Milligan of JDM Construction, and members of the Metro Decatur Homebuilder’s Association. The structures were donated by Lowe’s of Decatur and Marcia Potrafka of Carl’s Auto Sales and Prairie Built Barns, Boody, IL.
Tickets are on sale now through noon on June 16th and may be purchased HERE. The two winning tickets will be drawn at 4pm, Sunday, June 16 at the Juneteenth Celebration at the Devon Amphitheater, Decatur, Ilinois.
All proceeds from the Playhouse Raffle Benefit Macon County CASA.
