May 22, 2024 – ADM has been named a finalist in the Enterprise category of Fast Company’s 2024 World Changing Ideas Awards.
The company’s global regenerative agriculture program was recognized for its innovative approach to enhancing sustainability and reducing carbon footprints in agricultural value chains.
ADM’s program supports growers in adopting regenerative farming practices that improve soil health, biodiversity, climate, and water resources. It also connects these growers with major brands like PepsiCo, Nestlé, and Carlsberg to help them create sustainably sourced products and reduce emissions.
“This recognition is a testament to our global teams and partners who understand the urgent need for greater adoption of regenerative agriculture practices,” said Greg Morris, president of ADM’s Ag Services and Oilseeds business.
In 2023, ADM exceeded its goal by delivering over 2.8 million regenerative acres and partnering with more than 28,000 growers. The program has expanded to new regions, including Europe and Latin America. For 2024, ADM aims to achieve 3.5 million regenerative acres and has increased its 2025 goal to 5 million acres globally.
