Lauren Alaina has just released her new single called “Getting Over Him,” featuring labelmate Jon Pardi. The two are getting together to shoot the song's video next week in Nashville. Lauren and Jon tell us: “We are the main characters in the video so there aren't like other people playing the two main characters. It's going to be us. It's very . . . it's fun! (Jon) Isn't it kind of like a Bonnie & Clyde thing? (Lauren) It's very much like a rebellious . . . (Jon) It's not at a bar. (Lauren) It's not in a bar. I don't drink alcohol anymore but, you know, what are you gonna do? It's a fun time.”
Jon said he has also stopped drinking alcohol until after the video shoot.
Lauren co-wrote “Getting Over Him,” which is included on her EP of the same name. The six-song EP was released last year.
