March 8, 2026 –  The Decatur Area Arts Council has announced the return of the Decatur Craft Beer Festival, featuring three events this spring that highlight craft brewing, food and community activities.

The series begins with First Pour: A DCBFest Culinary Experience on March 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Richland Community College’s Bistro 537. The preview dinner will pair craft beers with specially prepared dishes in a limited-seating setting that will also include live music, prizes and festival discounts. Tickets are $100 per person.

The second event, VIP Night: Exclusive Tastes for Exclusive Tastes, will take place May 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. at GK9 Wine & Spirits. The guided tasting event will feature specialty brews from select festival partners that will not be available during the main festival. Tickets are $100 and include admission to both the VIP event and the main festival, along with a souvenir tasting glass and other items.

The Decatur Craft Beer Festival will be held May 2 from noon to 4 p.m. at Central Park in downtown Decatur. Organizers say the outdoor festival will feature regional craft breweries, artisan vendors, live music and food trucks.

Tickets for the main festival are $40 and include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited tastings, live music and access to food vendors. Non-alcoholic ticket options will also be available for guests who wish to attend the event but not consume alcohol.

Proceeds from the festival support the Decatur Area Arts Council’s programs, including gallery exhibitions, arts education initiatives and grant-funded performing arts events.

Tickets and additional information are available at decaturarts.org or by calling 217-423-3189.
