March 31, 2026— Mt. Zion United Methodist Church will host a self-guided interactive exhibit titled “Journey to the Cross” on Good Friday, April 3.

The exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the church sanctuary and is free to the public.

The display features 12 stations, each representing events leading up to the resurrection of Jesus. According to organizers, each stop includes a Bible verse, an opportunity for reflection or prayer, and optional hands-on activities designed to engage visitors.

Some stations may include sensory elements such as applying scented oil, eating bread, drinking juice, or writing and attaching notes to a cross.

Organizers say the experience typically takes between 20 and 30 minutes to complete, though visitors may move through the exhibit at their own pace.

The event is open to individuals of all faith backgrounds.

The church is located at 1220 West Main Street in Mt. Zion.
