September 30, 2026 – ADM will be recognized for its investment in Decatur as part of the inaugural Illinois Impact Awards.
The Illinois Economic Development Corporation announced ADM will receive the Governor’s Award for Local Impact – Central Illinois at an awards ceremony Thursday at the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago.
ADM announced in June that it is investing more than 103 million dollars to modernize its Decatur operations. The project is expected to create 50 new jobs while retaining more than 1,000 existing positions.
ADM employs more than 4,000 people at its North American headquarters and manufacturing complex in Decatur.
The modernization includes upgrades to soybean processing, protein production, storage and corn milling operations.
