October 4, 2026 – The Macon County Health Department will host a drive-thru flu vaccination clinic Friday, October 9, for individuals age 19 and older.
The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Macon County Health Department, 1221 East Condit Street in Decatur. Vaccinations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Adults age 65 and older will receive the high-dose flu vaccine.
Those attending should enter from East Orchard Street and turn left onto North Lowber Street. Residents should bring a photo ID and insurance card or other insurance information and are encouraged to wear a short-sleeved shirt for easier access to the upper arm.
The health department will offer standard Fluzone, Flublok recombinant egg-free vaccine for adults and Fluzone High-Dose for adults 65 and older.
