October 27, 2026 – Bargain hunters can shop for a good cause this week as the Partners of HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital host a Gently Used Sale to raise funds for hospital equipment.
The sale will take place Wednesday, October 28, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Thursday, October 29, from 7 a.m. to noon in the hospital’s Assisi Room.
Shoppers can browse a variety of gently used items, including purses, jewelry, scarves, sunglasses, books, movies, video games, board games, toys, puzzles, candles and men’s fashion accessories.
Jean Buttz, publicity chair for the Partners of St. Mary’s, says the event brings volunteers together to prepare merchandise, organize the sale and spread the word.
All proceeds go directly back to St. Mary’s Hospital to help purchase equipment that supports patient care.
The Partners of HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting hospital colleagues and patients while raising funds for the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation.
