November 29, 2021 – Thirteen local nonprofit organizations have been awarded $13,300 in grants to fund items on their wish lists of needs. The grants were made possible through donations to The Community Foundation of Macon County.

“The Community Wish List is a wonderful mechanism for making sure that nonprofits have a chance to voice what they need to operate,” says CFMC President Natalie Beck. “And for donors, granting wishes is a simple way to direct year-end giving for the betterment of our community. I’d also add that making a wish come true in the name of another individual is also a great holiday gift for that hard-to-buy-for person in your life.”
